ABOUT THE ROLE
The Inside Sales Representative drives revenue growth across our wholesale trade accounts by managing and expanding a portfolio of customers. The position focuses on building trusted client relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored product solutions that generate repeat business and referrals. The primary focus of this role is to grow the our brand, beginning with reactivation of former customers. Sales are conducted by phone, email, video conference, in-person meetings (from time to time), and industry tradeshows. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer, who assigns existing accounts and new prospects. The Inside Sales Representative is supported by the marketing team, which provides product content, email campaigns, LinkedIn content, public relations, and related sales enablement materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and execute a territory sales plan aligned with goals set by the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Conduct daily outbound prospecting by phone and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Lead client meetings — primarily virtual, with occasional in-person visits — to present products, negotiate terms, and close business.
  • Forecast customer demand and coordinate sales logistics with internal teams.
  • Recommend alternative solutions when inventory availability does not match client requirements.
  • Develop deep product knowledge across the brand to confidently answer customer questions.
  • Document all customer communication and pipeline activity in NetSuite CRM.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and refine strategy.
  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall team goals.
  • Attend tradeshows.
You will be responsible for the set-up, customer engagement, and teardown.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Three or more years of inside sales or comparable sales experience within the wholesale trade industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
