The Inside Sales Specialist, reporting to the Commercial Sales Department, is essential in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth goals. This role requires making numerous outbound calls and emails to current and prospective dealers, generating interest, qualifying opportunities, and closing sales. Success depends on strong collaboration with the outside sales team. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual to understand customer needs, generate leads, and achieve monthly sales targets through seamless cooperation with sales executives, channel partners, and internal departments.FLSA:
EXEMPT Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and follow-up utilizing inbound/outbound cold calls and emails while maintaining and expanding your database of prospects within your assigned territory. Maintain and expand a robus database of prospects within the assigned territory. Conduct thorough research on accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in our products and services. Understand and analyze customer needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions Respond promptly to dealer calls, emails, and faxes to resolve warranty claims, pricing issues, general inquiries, and order entry. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure. Close sales and achieve monthly targets Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals Answer incoming dealer calls, e-mails, and/or faxes to resolve warranty claims, pricing issues, general inquiries and order entry Proficiency in Excel, SalesForce, and Oracle EBS. Communicates order and account statuses to account managers and dealers to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Works closely with Finance and Sales Field Staff to resolve outstanding credit and AR issues and assist in order holds resolution.Education/Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience equivalent 2+ years of experience with sales, order entry, or customer service Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn new products and quickly adapt to a changing environment. Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Prior experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM system Familiarity with Oracle a plus Demonstrated experience with creative problem solving skills, and the capability to get things done.Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks. Primarily making outbound calls (remainder of time: accepting inbound calls, sending emails, and completing administrative responsibilities using a variety of software tools.
