Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact in the classroom by supporting students and educators with your expertise as a paraprofessional. This contract opportunity near Naperville, IL, offers the chance to enrich the lives of children and foster a positive, inclusive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Experience working with children or young adults in an educational or care setting Familiarity with classroom operations, special education accommodations, or one-on-one student support Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Compassionate, patient approach to meeting diverse learner needs High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or paraprofessional certification considered a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management Provide direct support for students individually or in small groups Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies as directed Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere Support students with physical, emotional, or educational needs to promote maximum participation Prepare instructional materials, set up learning spaces, and assist with record-keeping Communicate student progress and concerns to lead teachers and other staff
