Qualifications:

Minimum requirement: Associate's Degree or higher, OR 48 college units and a high school diploma, OR Passing the CBEST and a high school diploma, OR Passing the instructional aide exam and a high school diploma Additional roles and preferences may include: CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to complete district-funded training Experience with specialized health procedures, sign language, Braille, or California LVN license (S10F, S20D, S20V, S22 categories) Experience supporting students with behavioral and/or significant physical care needs Completion of relevant emergency medical training modules Proof of qualifications and certifications required with your application Manager-level reference needed

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic, behavioral, and personal care support to students with diverse needs across Pre-K, elementary, middle, high school, and specialized programs Implement teacher and school protocols, including feeding, assistance with toileting/diapering, G-tube care, lifting/positioning, and more Recognize and respond appropriately to medical and behavioral interventions Collaborate actively with school teams and display flexibility in assignment Available contracts run June 15 through mid-July 2026, with specific schedules varying by school level.
