Job Description

Overview Join a Farmers Insurance Agency as an Insurance Agent and play a key role in helping individuals and families protect what matters most. In this high-energy, sales-driven position, you'll connect with both prospective and existing clients to deliver customized insurance solutions across auto, home, life, and business lines. This is a full-time opportunity with uncapped commission , giving you direct control over your income potential. With paid time off, structured training, and ongoing development , you'll have the support needed to build a long-term, scalable career within the Farmers ecosystem. What You'll Do Generate new business through outbound calling, referrals, networking, and community involvement Consult with clients to assess risk and recommend tailored coverage solutions Present and explain Farmers Insurance products clearly, including policy features, coverage limits, and pricing Close sales by effectively handling objections and aligning solutions to client needs Manage the full sales lifecycle, including quoting, application processing, and CRM documentation Maintain relationships with clients to support retention, cross-selling, and policy servicing Stay compliant with insurance regulations and agency standards when handling sensitive information Collaborate with agency leadership on marketing initiatives to grow local brand presence What We're Looking For Proven performance in sales (insurance, retail, or telemarketing) with quota attainment Strong communication and objection-handling skills Competitive, self-driven mindset with a focus on results and income growth Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply consultative selling techniques Organizational discipline to manage pipeline, follow-ups, and documentation Insurance license (or willingness to obtain — training provided) Bilingual candidates are a plus Compensation & Benefits Uncapped commission structure (no ceiling on earnings) Base + commission opportunities (if applicable to your agency model) Full-time position with paid time off (PTO) Comprehensive training and mentorship through Farmers Insurance programs Clear path for advancement, including agency ownership opportunities Why Farmers Insurance Farmers is one of the most recognized and trusted insurance brands in the country, offering agents strong product lines, marketing support, and a proven business model.
