  • Full-time HOA Insurance Agency is seeking a licensed Insurance Agent to support homeowners associations, condominium associations, property managers, and unit owners with specialized insurance coverage.
This is not a traditional high-volume insurance sales role. The position is consultative, relationship-driven, and focused on helping HOA boards, trustees, property managers, and condo owners understand and secure the right insurance coverage for their communities. The ideal candidate is a licensed Property & Casualty insurance professional who can explain complex insurance concepts clearly, manage client relationships, coordinate with carriers, and support both new business and renewals.
Responsibilities Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
Advise HOA boards, trustees, property managers, and unit owners on insurance coverage needs Explain HOA master policies, HO-6 coverage, deductibles, loss assessments, liability coverage, D&O coverage, and related insurance concepts Identify potential coverage gaps and help clients understand available options Build long-term relationships with clients, board members, and property management partners
Insurance Placement & Renewal Support:
Gather underwriting information, loss history, governing documents, and other required materials Work with carriers and internal team members to market, quote, and place coverage Prepare and present insurance proposals in a clear and organized manner Support policy renewals, coverage reviews, and client follow-up
Business Development:
Develop new business through referrals, property management relationships, HOA board contacts, and inbound opportunities Manage a pipeline of prospective HOA, condominium, and unit owner insurance opportunities Help grow the agency's HOA and condominium insurance book of business
Qualifications Required:
Active Property & Casualty insurance license Insurance experience in personal lines, commercial lines, or related insurance advisory role Ability to explain insurance concepts in plain language Comfortable working with clients, carriers, and internal team members Professional, consultative approach to client relationships
Preferred:
Experience with HOA, condominium, community association, real estate, or property management insurance Commercial lines insurance experience Experience working in an independent agency or brokerage environment Familiarity with HOA master policies, HO-6 policies, D&O coverage, liability coverage, deductible structures, and loss assessments About HOA Insurance Agency HOA Insurance Agency specializes in insurance solutions for homeowners associations, condominium associations, and unit owners.
