  • Full-time Overview Naples Oral and Facial Surgery is a growing practice looking for a detail-oriented, professional, and highly organized Insurance Coordinator to join our team!
If you have experience with dental or medical insurance administration, we would love to hear why you would be a great fit for our practice. This position plays a critical role in the financial success of our patients' care — managing insurance verification, claims submission, and benefit coordination to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. We are located in Round Rock and are nationally recognized for excellence in advanced dental and surgical care. We have amazing patients, and you will have the opportunity to join our mission to help them regain their ability to smile, laugh and chew. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience working in an administrative and/or clinical role in a dental practice or medical specialty practice (including insurance verification and patient coordination) Familiarity with dental and medical insurance plans and terminology Detail-oriented, outgoing, self-motivated and team-focused Ability to provide exceptional and personalized care; Solid communication and follow-through skills; Critical thinker and problem solver Comfortable using Microsoft Office365: Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; willing to learn other applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in multi-tasking Responsibilities This is not an exclusive or permanent list of responsibilities. Verify patient insurance benefits before appointments, ensuring eligibility and coverage details for oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, and other complex treatments Prepare insurance claims for submission, ensuring accuracy in coding, billing information, and required documentation Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities for upcoming procedures Track and follow up on outstanding claims and denials, collaborating with billing to ensure a timely resolution Generate reports on insurance verification and claim status, providing updates to management as needed Organize and maintain reception and front-desk areas to a high standard Enter patient information accurately into our data system Answer incoming patient inquiries, schedule appointments Maintain current and expanding knowledge of restorative, implant dentistry Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and privacy regulations Embark on a rewarding career where your attention to detail and healthcare knowledge make a real difference!
