Job Description

We are seeking a driven, community-minded individual to join our team as an independent Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about making a tangible local impact. You'll sell insurance products and spearhead initiatives that address community needs, positioning our agency as a trusted ally.
Compensation:
$66,000 at plan commission
Responsibilities:
Utilize social media and local media to promote community efforts and client success stories Develop and manage a book of business by offering tailored insurance solutions Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements Educate clients on coverage options, ensuring policies align with their needs Oversee daily operations including marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community Must be a good communicator and be able to explain solutions to the customer High School diploma a must: college degree a bonus or related work experience Ability to review and solve situational tasks Willingness to complete tasks without having to be micro-managed Ability to make decisions at the moment Willingness to learn and grow as the business changes
Qualifications:
Passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact Strong ability to communicate and problem-solve Some knowledge of farming or agricultural background 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience is an advantage Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one) Insurance and sales experience a plus About Company On May 1, 1947, a group of Idaho farmers and ranchers founded an insurance company.
