reviews $15 an hour•Part-time Are you a dynamic, adaptable, and friendly individual with a passion for working with youth of all abilities? We're looking for someone just like you to join our Integration Initiative team at one or more of our locations in southeastern Massachusetts! As a team member, you'll play a key role in supporting our fully inclusive youth programs. You'll work directly with children and teens with disabilities, as well as those who may need a bit of extra attention to thrive alongside their peers. Your goal will be to help create an environment where every child feels welcomed, supported, and set up for success.
What We're Looking For:
A commitment to inclusion and creating safe, supportive spaces for all participants Comfort working with youth of diverse abilities; experience a plus. A positive, flexible attitude and a team-first mindset Strong interpersonal and communication skills Join us in making a difference through inclusive programming that empowers every young person to shine! Must be 16 years of age or older Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations Positive, friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills First Aid, CPR, and AED certified—or willing to become certified Experience developing and/or participating in programs for individuals with disabilities Strong communication skills, including experience working with parents and guardians Dependable, trustworthy, focused, and exercises good judgment Ability to provide a safe, fun, and inclusive experience for participants with and without disabilities Flexible and able to offer input on class structure to better meet the needs of all participants Willingness to be trained in providing accommodations, positive behavior interventions, and general disability awareness Ability to support children with disabilities in a variety of class settings, including swim lessons, sports classes, and enrichment programs
