Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Therapist - Stanton

Overview Provide Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for adolescents and adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This role focuses on group and individual therapy, accurate level-of-care determination, and strong coordination with court and community systems. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for adolescent and adult clients Determine appropriate level of care using ASAM criteria Provide individual therapy and facilitate IOP group services for SUD clients Develop diagnostic impressions and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor progress and support step-down/termination planning based on clinical need Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate treatment and program services Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards Provide counseling, referrals, and resource coordination for clients and families Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings Maintain active coordination with community partners (e.g., drug court, probation and parole, DOC) Work within a team-based model to deliver comprehensive care across the continuum Uphold professional ethics, continuity of care, and quality standards Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's in Humans Services Field. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator's license. IOP experience preferred.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to evaluate needs of clients. Knowledge of overall objectives and treatment concepts of substance use. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment mental/behavior disorders and SUD clients. Good verbal and written skills; patience and flexibility. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner. An eclectic knowledge base.
