Standard Internship $ Paid Full Time Description 10-to-12-week summer duration desired, flexible start and end dates. 40-hour anticipated work week, Monday through Friday. On-Site in South Bend, IN. Paid opportunity.

Program Activities:

Orientation Kick-off and networking opportunities with other Interns, Colleagues and Senior Management. Responsibilities Learn the basics of Commercial Lending/Credit Underwriting. Assist with obtaining credit information. Perform credit file maintenance, request/review financial information, and complete additional research as required. Assist with performing periodic financial review of current customers. Attend Credit Committees as an observer to learn about the credit approval process. Complete assigned reports and/or projects by management by identified deadline. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required. Pursuing bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance desired. Pursuing a career in banking. Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word) is essential. Good organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Able to prioritize workload and manage multiple competing tasks and demands. Ability to meet deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Login to Apply
