Intern
What You Will DoAs a Procurement Intern, you will support the Office of Procurement with various tasks, including but not limited to, data entry, reviewing documents for accuracy, working with all county agencies assisting buyers with the bid/RFP process. The Procurement Intern must be detailed oriented, work independently when given an assignment, and be able to multitask.

Essential Duties
- Assist Procurement staff with daily administrative and operational functions related to the County's procurement process.
- Support the preparation and organization of procurement documents, solicitations, contracts, and bid materials.
- Help research vendors and business partners to support competitive purchasing and value-based decision making.
- Assist with maintaining accurate procurement records, files, and databases.
- Help track purchases, contracts, and vendor performance information.
- Assist with data entry and reporting related to procurement activity and spending.
- Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
- Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.
