Intervention Teacher/TOSA (Home Health & Hospital)(Student Support Services) at Mariposa County Unified School District and COE Print Application Deadline 5/20/2026 12:00 PM Pacific Date Posted 5/6/2026 Contact Amy Smith 2097420250 1209 Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range $56,256 - $99,865 Annually Add'l Salary Info Salary Placement is Depending on experience & education; masters/doctoral stipends available Length of Work Year 185 days Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the principal, the Intervention Teacher/TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) will support teachers and staff in addressing the needs of students experiencing challenges with attendance, mental health, and other factors that may impact their ability to participate in a comprehensive, in-school instructional setting. This support may include facilitating short-term independent study or home hospital instruction due to mental health concerns, medical issues, and/or family distress. This position operates under the MCUSD Student Services Division and will be primarily based at the Alternative Education Facility. This position is grant-funded and, continuous is contingent on funding.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction using MCUSD digital curriculum programs and platforms.
- Participate in 504 meetings, SSTs, and staffings related to student needs and services; assist schools in developing strategic plans for student intervention and growth.
- Monitor and report student achievement data associated with multi-tier assessments.
- Mentor school-based Problem Solving Teams in the development and implementation of MTSS across all tiers.
- Serve as a liaison among teachers, counselors, social workers, school psychologists, administrators, and others to develop appropriate interventions and student support plans; collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 students.
- Monitor academic progress and implement strategies to support re-engagement of identified students.
- Maintain accurate and timely academic records and document interventions in the student information system (SIS) and other district platforms (e.
