This position is responsible for the tracking of inventory input and output, maintaining records and monitoring all inventory transactions. This role will be working alongside Finance and Production teams to resolve any issues related to inventory and must be highly detailed and meticulous. Ability to work overtime as needed is required. Must be a dependable self-starter with high attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision. Must also be responsible and safety conscious. Responsibilities:
Researches and identifies the root causes of inventory discrepancies to identify process improvements. Reports inventory levels and issues to management, identify discrepancies with inventory, and create reports that show aged/obsolete inventory or issues with inventory counts. Supports inventory counting activities and adjustments and track all inventory issues with resolution in a timely manner. Responsible for making sure third party material deliveries are processed through the ERP system efficiently and accurately and all necessary paperwork is provided to the customer/supplier. Responsible for entering critical production item data into D365, making modifications to existing item data and maintaining all data relevant to item master setup (Including bills of material, routes, sales price, expected cost, etc.).
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred) 2 year degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
2 years experience working within a warehouse management ERP system preferred but not required Previous experience using D365, Dynamics AX, or equivalent ERP a plus Previous experience in manufacturing industry preferred
Skills:
Must be detail oriented, with strong accuracy, multi-tasking and problem solving skills Ability to learn new systems and processes Ability to manage multiple projects and/or assignments concurrently and prioritize to meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation Ability to work with a team in a fast paced, high work volume environment with emphasis on maintaining quality and timeliness
