Inventory Associate

Inventory Associate Overview Balta US is seeking an Inventory Associate professional with experience in high-volume and fast-paced warehouses. As Balta US expands to serve the growth in the world, the company is investing in warehousing and a broad assortment of thousands of area rugs available for drop-shipping to end-consumers on behalf of major online retailers. The Inventory Associate will be responsible for all inventory and associated transactions. They will also work closely with the warehouse management in order to build a cycle count program within the facility. This role operates in a warehouse environment, which may include working near moving machinery, high-volume and fast-paced settings, and areas with fluctuating temperatures. Responsibilities Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; tracks and investigates problems. Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to system-generated reports. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Maintaining and updating records. Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in stock. Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Developing and improving inventory management procedures. Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, and merchandise. Be an eye on the floor for issues related to product storage and safety. Job Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma. 2+ years' experience in inventory control. Excellent math and analytical skills. Ability to work extended hours. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, forklift, or inventory control is beneficial. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization, and prioritization skills. This position is located in Balta's Midway, GA distribution campus. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
