Job Description
Description The Inventory Control Analyst monitors inventory accuracies and ensures that cycle count practices are being enforced to both maintain accurate inventory carrying costs and provide realistic production scheduling inputs. Key Responsibilities Administer, coordinate, and participate in the cycle counting process for all raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory Determine and analyze the cause of imbalances between physical and computerized inventory levels Upon review and approval, establish and implement corrective action and/or procedures as necessary Manage the creation and implementation of new material zones within the manufacturing work in process area Monitors the movement of all materials throughout the manufacturing process and handles any inventory discrepancies Continuously works to streamline material movement within the manufacturing facility Reviews Bill of Materials for errors Works closely with internal and external auditors to ensure the Company's inventory levels match the appropriate value of the Company Monitors various reports from Receiving, Accounting, and Production Planning for errors Works closely with Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and Domestic Distribution Centers Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor. Performs other duties as directed Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 3-5 + years of Logistics, Supply Chain or Inventory Control experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrates an understanding of computer software as it relates to lean manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, inventory control and pull systems Working knowledge of the ABC methods of analysis Ability to interpret and analyze reports Proficient in Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems and D365 Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills Strong self-motivation skills Possess strong commitment to team environment while working well with others Job Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and FSA are available 30 days after your start date 401k with company match is available after 90 days of employment Company-provided Life Insurance is provided for you after 90 days of employment 3 PTO days after 60 days of employment (hourly and non-exempt positions only) 2 weeks of vacation after 6 months of employment 10 paid holidays - including your birthday!
