Inventory Control Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control and Purchasing agent. The primary job function is inventory control, including receiving, shipping, and purchasing tools and material for a large Heavy Construction Contractor. Experience in the Construction Industry is preferred. Communicate with Project Teams and Vendors . The goal is to acquire and monitor supplies that are critical to our operation. Responsibilities • Inventory Control Shipping and Receiving Place orders for Field Operations Request quotes from multiple suppliers/vendors Develop pricing list on commonly used items Follow up and track orders to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries Monitor stock levels Requirements Experience as a purchasing agent or relevant role Able to negotiate prices and terms and conditions Working knowledge of Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good organizational skills
