As the Inventory Control Supervisor / Specialist, you will own inventory records for raw materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring materials are available to support on-time production and shipping. You will also lead inventory staff and help shape our future systems and processes as we prepare for more advanced inventory software. What You'll Do Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations. Ensure materials are available for production schedules and job orders to prevent delays. Inspect and verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders. Partner with Purchasing, Production, Scheduling, and Shipping to make sure materials are staged and ready when needed. What You Bring Strong working knowledge of inventory management, material flow, and accuracy controls in a manufacturing environment. Experience managing inventory for raw materials, production components, and finished goods. Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong computer skills with spreadsheets and business software, and the ability to learn new inventory and ERP systems as they are implemented. Minimum 3 years of inventory control experience preferred; supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred. Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and effective in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Work Environment This role works primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse setting within a sign production facility, with regular walking in production areas, standing, lifting materials, and working around equipment and forklifts.
