Inventory Coordinator

Inventory Control & Accuracy Maintain organized warehouse shelving and establish new part locations as needed Lead weekly cycle counts, including coordination with satellite offices Travel to satellite locations annually to perform in-person inventory counts Assist in establishing and maintaining min/max inventory levels Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in inventory management Inventory Operations & Project Support Pull and stage materials for projects daily as directed by Operations Issue and transfer inventory to projects following staging Review job dashboard daily with Operations Post inventory adjustments related to equipment overhauls for review and approval Procurement & Replenishment Reorder inventory materials based on min/max levels and usage trends, including: Pump components Well materials Pipe and shafting Valves Motors Well rehabilitation chemicals Fire protection parts Electrical components Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination Review two-week schedule with Purchasing Manager, Lead Buyer, and Operations (twice weekly) to ensure material availability Communicate regularly with satellite offices regarding inventory needs, MRO supplies, and other non-inventory job materials Returns, Credits & Vendor Coordination Manage the returns area and process inventory credits Request RMAs from vendors for non-stock materials and coordinate return shipments Partner with Accounting to verify receipt of all applicable credits Equipment & Miscellaneous Responsibilities Coordinate water level probe repairs Manage oxygen/gas meter recalibration Transport water samples to laboratory as required Peerless Midwest takes pride in being 100% employee-owned through our ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), where every member of our team has the opportunity to participate in ownership of the company, ensuring that our success is shared among all employees. ____________________________________________________________________________ We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law . ____________________________________________________________________________
