Job Description
Inventory Data Specialist You are an Inventory Data Specialist who supports data quality and item master accuracy across inventory and procurement systems. This role is responsible for validating product information, resolving data issues, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring accurate inventory data that supports business operations and customer experience.
This position pays:
$30.00 to $33.00 per hour What you will be doing: Review and validate new item data, including UPCs, descriptions, sizing, categorization, item flags, and related attributes Monitor and resolve item data errors by reviewing logs and updating records according to standard operating procedures Respond to and resolve Data Quality support tickets in a timely manner Maintain and update item master data to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems Participate in cross-functional data quality initiatives, including data cleansing and enrichment projects Develop an understanding of the end-to-end item lifecycle and procurement processes Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis, and administrative tasks to support business needs Collaborate with internal teams to improve data integrity and operational efficiency What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field, or at least one year of relevant experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Proficiency with spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and organization Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize urgent tasks effectively Curiosity and interest in understanding how data impacts customer experience and business operations Retail experience is a plus Experience with SAP HANA or similar ERP systems is preferred To learn more about the workplace culture and the position, please apply! #INDWCC About Us For over 50 years, Nelson Connects has empowered employers and job seekers to achieve their unique versions of success.
