Inventory & Forklift Specialist (Warehouse/Logistics) Aerotek Aviation is currently hiring for a client of ours seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory & Forklift Specialist to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. • 3:30 PM Job Summary This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting inbound and outbound shipments, and operating a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with data entry, and experienced in warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Receive and release containers, processing all associated documentation Accurately enter inventory data into internal systems Coordinate shipping and receiving paperwork (shipping labels, delivery orders, etc.) Prepare outgoing materials, including cleaning and testing containers per procedures Clean aircraft cargo containers (interior and exterior) according to company standards Interact with drivers and transportation personnel during deliveries and pickups Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts , to move materials and containers Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as needed Required Qualifications Previous inventory and/or warehouse experience Forklift experience (required) Basic computer skills and data entry experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow procedures Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience working in logistics, shipping, or distribution environments Familiarity with inventory tracking systems Work Environment Clean, well-maintained warehouse/repair facility Team-oriented and structured environment Growing operation with long-term opportunity Additional Details Seeking dependable candidates with strong attendance and a positive attitude Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
