Company Description ooloo is a premium luggage rental service. We deliver luggage to customers before their trips and pick it up when they return. No buying, no storing, no hassle. We're growing fast and looking for reliable people in each of our markets to help us keep operations running smoothly. Role Description As an Inventory Manager, you're the hub for your city. Couriers pick up bags from you each morning to deliver to customers, and drop off returned bags throughout the day. You keep everything organized, prepped, and ready to go. This is a flexible, part-time role - but it requires daily availability (including weekends). Some days you'll have multiple handoffs; other days might be quiet. When there's nothing scheduled, your time is your own.Daily operations:
Receive delivery schedules via our Inventory Manager portal Have the correct bags ready for courier pickup each day Hand off outgoing bags to couriers; receive returned bags Pack UPS ship-back labels and bags into outgoing orders as needed Inventory management: Monitor stock levels through the portal Pick up additional bags from a local storage unit (we provide) when needed Flag low inventory and reorder through the portal before you run outAvailability:
Be available daily for handoffs (morning/afternoon windows, typically 7am-7pm) Respond to same-day courier coordination as needed Qualifications Strong experience in Inventory Control and Inventory Management Excellent Analytical Skills for data analysis and problem-solving Effective Communication and Customer Service skills Proficiency in inventory management software and tools Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment Reliable and organized - this only works if you show up every day Has Reliable Transportation Comfortable with basic technology Has space to store 10-20 bags at home or nearby Must be based in Downtown Chicago Previous experience in a similar role is a plusSimilar jobs in Harwood Heights, IL
