Inventory Specialist

Inventory Specialist in Clara City, MN! We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, coordinating shipments, and supporting production planning to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers.

Pay :

$20- $25 / hr - Depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Create, update, and release production work orders based on schedules Monitor finished goods inventory to support accurate and on-time shipments Review daily demand and open orders; collaborate with planning, production, and sales teams Communicate inventory shortages, overages, or delays affecting customer orders Coordinate customer shipments, including documentation, warehouse, and transportation needs Prepare pick tickets, Bills of Lading, and shipping documents Manage export documentation, including certificates and customs paperwork Ensure accuracy of sales orders, including product details, quantities, and delivery dates Process order changes and communicate updates across teams Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies Prepare and ship product samples as requested Coordinate rework of out-of-spec inventory and manage related processes Organize shipments to third-party warehouses Schedule and coordinate trucking logistics Manage inventory status changes in the system (quality hold, release, off-spec) Print and coordinate labeling for customer orders Support plant safety and food safety standards Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed Qualifications 3-5 years of inventory management experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Experience with ERP systems and warehouse operations preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
