Inventory/Production Technician - Cannabis

Job Summary As an Inventory technician you must perform the accurate recording of all compliance into the state mandated tracking system, the transportation & delivery assignment of Customer sales orders to ensure 100% compliance with the State of Ohio dual-use Marijuana bylaws and directives. Weekly and Monthly inventory audit of finished and unfinished products. When not performing Inventory tasks, you will work as a Production technician to efficiently manicure, harvest, trim and package plant material, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready for sale or processing. In this role you will be involved in plant work, cleaning, and harvest activities daily. As an employee of Ascension, you will be responsible for upholding and remaining within the guidance of the company's standard operating procedures, operational guidelines, and direction. Inventory

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the storage vault
• Responsible for verifying plant waste generated
• Accurately and efficiently weigh and package product for final sale
• Create, examine, and check labels for accuracy
• Ensure loss prevention with proper tracking of all products
• Fulfillment and labeling of orders
• Assist with inventory of all packages with a METRC tag.
• Create inventory tracking records in accordance with the State of Ohio.
• Assisting and weighing plants during harvest
• Ensure drivers are properly equipped for deliveries.
• Possibility of working on weekends, holidays, and staying late.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy within METRC. Ensure all proper daily transactions are made accurately and consistently.
• Assure daily compliance with company policies, state and local regulations, and security protocols. Production
• Bucking Cannabis from plant material
• Harvesting plants
• Preparing and hanging freshly cut branches for initial drying during harvest day
• Daily burping of product to ensure quality always
• Sit for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming with a steady pace
• Hand trim flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a quality product
• Pruning and defoliating plants
• Trellising of the plant canopy
• Stand for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented pruning and defoliating
• Be able to work under high temperature and humidity with excessive lighting
• Cleaning is 50% of the work
• Cleaning of floors, including, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Cleaning of all equipment and hand tools
• Regular cleaning of plant rooms
• Cleaning all harvest and post-harvest areas
• Trash removal of waste created in any room
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment Must be 21 years or older Must pass a background check through FBI/BCI and approved by State of Ohio This position has a starting rate based on experience
