Irrigation technician

Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs. Adjust sprinkler heads, valves, timers, and controllers to ensure even water distribution across landscaped areas. Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, and soil preparation to support overall landscape health. Operate construction equipment safely during installation or repair projects while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with landscaping teams to coordinate irrigation needs with ongoing landscape maintenance or construction projects. Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and installations for efficient scheduling and reporting. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with irrigation systems and related equipment. Familiarity with landscaping practices including lawn care, horticulture principles, and general landscape maintenance. Ability to operate hand & power tools. Experience in using landscaping equipment and understanding of irrigation technology is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
