Irrigation Technician

Openings for Experienced Irrigation Technicians All Techs will receive a truck and tablet. Tablets are used for Punching in/out, and for filling out work orders. Our office is located in Buffalo MN, but it is not required to check into the office daily. Winter work is available.

Responsibilities:

Start-ups Winterizations Service Calls Maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues Repair or replace damaged components such as sprinkler heads, valves, and pipes Adjust irrigation system settings to ensure proper water distribution Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to integrate irrigation systems into overall landscape plans Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, adjusting timers, and checking for leaks Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used on a Tablet Truck Care and Maintenance Plowing/Snow removal Experience is a plus.

Experience:

2+ years experience in irrigation Knowledge of irrigation system installation and maintenance techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and irrigation system designs Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in irrigation work Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair system issues Understanding of proper water conservation practices in irrigation Wire Diagnostics Backflow Tester License a plus

Commercial Irrigation Tech:

3+ years Commercial experience, 10+ years irrigation experience preferred. 2 wire diagnostics PVC repair up to 6" Wells, Pumps, and Pumps Stations Backflow testing license a plus Experience with Rain Bird Site Control and LDIs is a plus
