IT Administrator & Software Engineer (Django / React Native)

IT Administrator & Developer (Django / React Native) Full-Time | Onsite - Seattle, WA Cool Cat Fence Cool Cat Fence is growing fast, and we're looking for a technically strong IT Administrator and Software Engineer to support and build our internal systems. This role is split approximately 50% software development and 50% IT, systems, and infrastructure. You'll actively contribute to building internal applications and automations while also helping maintain and improve the company's technical environment. We're not a traditional fence company — we're building a tech-driven, highly automated business. This role works closely with leadership and multiple teams to help us scale efficiently. Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & Automation (≈50%) Build and maintain internal applications using Django and React Native Develop backend logic, APIs, and integrations Create scripts and workflow automations using Python, JavaScript, and Google Apps Script Improve system architecture and application performance Support and expand internal tools and platforms Work on integrations between platforms such as ServiceTitan, GoHighLevel, Google Workspace, and internal systems IT, Systems & Infrastructure (≈50%) Manage and support internal IT systems and company software Maintain tools such as Google Workspace, ServiceTitan, GoHighLevel, WordPress, and internal systems Troubleshoot technical issues and help minimize downtime Assist with device management, networking, permissions, and system setup Maintain documentation and system organization Support day-to-day technical operations across departments What We're Looking ForRequired Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript Hands-on experience with Django Experience with React Native Experience working with APIs and system integrations Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset Organized, reliable, and proactive Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience with CRM or field-service software Google Apps Script / Google Sheets automation WordPress knowledge Startup or small business experience General IT administration or infrastructure experience Teamwork & Flexibility This position description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties or responsibilities.
