Job Description

Job Description Reports to the IT Site Lead. Helps support Office automation, and delivery of services for the plant location. Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, courteous first-level IT support for plant employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and manufacturing-specific systems (e.g., MES, barcode scanners).
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment across the facility.
  • Support users with account management, password resets, access permissions, and application issues.
  • Document all incidents, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams.
  • Participate in system upgrades, equipment rollouts, and IT improvement projects.
  • Ensure adherence to company IT policies, security protocols, and data protection standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and minimize downtime. Work Process Accountabilities
  • Take leadership of all incidents and initiatives affecting site's IT environment
  • Do what it takes to get business working including hands on intervention as required.
  • Identify root causes of incidents to assure no repeat incidents and lowering both lost units and lost work hours for those incidents that do occur.
  • Support local and corporate project implementations when they occur.
  • Ensure conformance and adherence to working procedures and audit standards with all Hanon Systems Integrated Management System procedures, standards, and regulations

  • Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of IT helpdesk or technical support experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with manufacturing IT systems (MES, ERP) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Willingness to work on-site and support 2nd shift-based operations.
