IT Manager

The Reeds at Shelter having is searching for an IT Manager that oversees and maintains all aspects of the property's computer infrastructure. This includes maintaining networks, servers, and security programs and systems. They assist with the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software, perform troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems, and assess viruses and potential threats to the company's network. The IT Manager also monitors the use of email, creates and changes passwords, makes suggestions for improvements to computer systems, backup, data, and performs data recovery as needed.

Job Requirements:

Maintain a secure server and systems by updating software, performing scheduled scans, and completing ongoing training as directed. Conduct network troubleshooting to isolate and identify general network problems. Perform system backups and disaster recovery preparations. Maintain all local software and hardware licensing to ensure conformance. Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for desktop environment. Attend Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings to ensure all technology, equipment, and software are properly installed and functioning for events. Recommend software and hardware solutions comprising of upgrades and new acquisitions. Adequately and clearly explain software, systems, hardware, and processes to users as needed. Monitor IT systems' performance and recommend improvements or preventative measures. Find vulnerabilities within systems and networks to ensure security and reliability. Ensure PCI compliance within systems. Pinpoint guest challenges with technology systems. Provide support for F&B operations by troubleshooting Aloha system functionality and resolving other F&B-related technical issues as needed. Hold weekly meetings with the IT support team to review issues and establish action plans to support property operations. Other duties assigned.
