Job Title:
IT Project Manager - Technology Integration & Financial Management Role Overview The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a Technology Integration (TI) workstream within a large-scale enterprise program. This role combines project execution with comprehensive financial oversight, including estimating, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting. The objective is to ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and cost while maintaining transparency and control throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the delivery of technology integration initiatives across multiple program releases, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget. Develop and maintain resource plans, integrated project plans (IPP), project schedules, and work breakdown structures (WBS). Prepare, analyze, and deliver regular financial reports, including tracking expenditures, forecasting, and variance analysis. Collaborate closely with technical teams and leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking and alignment with program goals. Coordinate cross-functional activities between technical and business stakeholders to ensure milestones and deliverables are met. Ensure solution design and implementation align with both functional requirements and technical architecture. Monitor and manage project scope against baseline requirements; support change control processes by documenting scope changes, assessing impacts, and escalating risks when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of project milestones, financial transactions, and deliverables for audit and compliance purposes. Identify risks and opportunities, proactively recommend mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions. Support procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations related to technology and project financials. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of IT infrastructure with the ability to oversee end-to-end delivery and identify potential gaps. Advanced analytical capabilities, including expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation using Excel or similar tools. Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise projects with multiple workstreams, spanning multi-year timelines and budgets. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies effectively. Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, absorb new information, and deliver results with minimal supervision. Balanced mix of business acumen and technical knowledge to bridge communication between stakeholders and technical teams. Hands-on experience executing project management deliverables in addition to leadership responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of project management experience with a strong emphasis on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Experience supporting large-scale technology transformation programs, particularly within regulated or infrastructure-heavy industries. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), smart grid technologies, or large-scale utility/infrastructure programs. Familiarity with system integrations involving platforms such as MDMS, OMS, SAP, ADMS, or similar enterprise applications. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Project management certification (PMP, CAPM) is preferred. Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is a plus. Understanding of regulatory requirements and financial compliance within IT or utility environments. Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiations within IT projects.
