Job Description

The IT Service Specialist (ITSS) position will be responsible for the administration, support and maintenance of all related systems, applications and training. The ITSS will provide first level support for users, ensure accuracy of information and provide installation and training services as needed. Prioritize requests and assure timely response and resolution to requests for technical support using superior customer service skills
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform first level Service Desk support and utilize best practices for hardware and software problems related to PC's in a Windows environment. Troubleshoot issues for approved software packages including Windows 11, O365, Teams, PDF software, and others specific to fabrication. Log Service Desk calls accurately and in a timely manner and prioritize responses according to established ITSM guidelines. Report and escalate any outstanding unresolved calls to second-level IT staff Train users on use and care of equipment and the basic features of approved software. Perform routine PC-based hardware and software maintenance, upgrades, and installation. Deploy PCs for new users or in accordance to the computer refresh schedule Assist in maintenance of asset tracker by reporting changes in current records regarding users, equipment, locations, serial numbers and description of equipment. Assist in deployment and disposal of companies' computer equipment. Assist in the creation and maintenance of user accounts, security levels, permissions, RFID cards and mailboxes. Maintain regular attendance Adhere to Marion Body Works Inc. Quality Policy.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist in performing software audits. Institute a culture of continuous improvement for quality and efficiency Foster and promote an environment of collaboration Maintain motivation and enthusiasm through development to drive a high performance culture Working knowledge of Marion Body Work's product flow and mfg processes Other tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
A strong work ethic Organizational skills People skills Ability to teach others Ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment is needed. Must be able to work with very little supervision Computer and Electronics proficiency Advanced Mathematical Skills Critical Thinking Demonstrate complete knowledge of mission, value, and ethics statement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Prefer Technical Degrees or Equivalent experience 1 to 3 years or more years of experience in a PC support role
