Full Job Description About Optima Medical:
Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group consisting of 30 locations and over 130+ medical providers, who care for more than 200,000 patients statewide. Our mission is to improve the quality of life throughout Arizona by helping communities "Live Better, Live Longer" through personalized healthcare, with a focus on preventing the nation's top leading causes of death. We go beyond primary care with a full spectrum of services including cardiovascular health services, behavioral health, allergy testing and immunotherapy, in-house lab testing, imaging, chronic disease management, and other specialty health services. We aspire to aid the growth of our company by welcoming the most qualified and deserving candidates aboard. Optima is currently seeking a Level 1 IT Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing frontline technical support to staff across our clinic locations, ensuring reliable day-to-day operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The Level 1 IT Support Specialist will work closely with end users, clinic administrators, and the IT team to troubleshoot issues, escalate complex problems as needed, and deliver timely resolutions that support operational continuity and staff productivity.Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot minor IT issues; escalate as necessary. Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including device preparation and recovery. Collaborate with Level 2/3 teams for escalated issues or special projects. Install, configure, and maintain computers, workstations, and related equipment. Travel to clinic locations to perform on-site support as needed. Document all issues via a ticketing system.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related experience. Proficient in installing and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and peripherals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and time management. Passion for technology and enthusiasm to learn.Preferred:
CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco IT certifications or training. Understanding of basic networking concepts. Experience working in a HIPAA-regulated or healthcare IT environments. Why Join Our Team?
