RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Monitor and analyze security events using tools like CrowdStrike Falcon to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities Conduct regular security assessments, patch reviews, and vulnerability management activities Participate in incident response activities and post-incident reviews to strengthen security posture Support end-user technical issues across corporate and retail locations as part of the broader IT support team Document security procedures, configurations, and systems to ensure continuity and cross-training Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PCI compliance and data privacy requirements are met

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Associate degree in cybersecurity, information technology, networking, or related technical field 1-2 years of professional experience in information security or cybersecurity CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA A+ certification preferred Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat detection tools, and the current threat landscape Experience in a Windows-based environment Timing is everything.
