IT Technician

Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues via help desk platforms Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across operating systems including Windows and macOS Manage computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance Administer computer networks by configuring and maintaining LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), and firewall settings such as Sonicwall or other security appliances Support IT infrastructure management tasks involving Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, and network administration tools Assist in deploying updates and patches using tools like NinjaOne; monitor system health; perform routine maintenance on servers and network devices Collaborate with team members to analyze system logs for troubleshooting using analysis skills; escalate complex issues appropriately Maintain documentation of technical procedures, network configurations, and asset inventories; ensure compliance with security protocols Skills Proven experience providing technical support for desktop hardware and software troubleshooting Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11/Server editions) and macOS Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, TCP connections, DNS management, LAN/WAN setup, VPN configurations, firewall management (e.g., Sonicwall) Proficiency with Active Directory management, Group Policy administration, and Windows Server environments Experience with remote support tools like ScreenConnect and NinjaOne or similar systems for deploying updates Ability to manage computer hardware components effectively; support mobile device integration and troubleshooting Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users; strong customer service orientation Analysis skills to diagnose complex system problems quickly; attention to detail in documentation and reporting Join us as an IT Technician where your expertise will directly impact our clients' operational efficiency!
