Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting larger issues promptly Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by following established procedures and safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained for optimal performance Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and buffing procedures Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively Familiarity with facilities maintenance and basic repair tasks Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficientl.
