Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure our spaces are spotless, organized, and well-maintained. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to ensure a professional appearance Clean restrooms thoroughly, restock supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets or specialized floor care as needed Conduct general facilities maintenance including minor repairs and reporting larger issues to management Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively in both commercial and residential settings Assist with porter duties such as moving supplies or furniture to support overall facility operations Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and residential painting is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums efficiently Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Join us in creating clean, safe environments where people feel comfortable and cared for!
