Job Overview Job works Saturdays and is 10 hours each time you clean. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order across various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and professional environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to the comfort and safety of our clients and their visitors. Duties Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle custodial tasks for both commercial and residential spaces, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and reporting larger issues to management. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers. Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including high-volume or specialized cleaning tasks. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning is highly valued. Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Knowledge of facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
