Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Job Coach/Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and autism to achieve their personal and employment goals. In this vital role, you will provide personalized support, mentorship, and training to help clients develop essential life skills, secure meaningful employment, and foster independence. Your energetic approach will inspire confidence and motivate clients to reach their full potential in a supportive, inclusive environment. Duties Develop individualized support plans tailored to each client's strengths, needs, and aspirations, focusing on employment readiness and daily living skills Assist clients with job searching, interview preparation, resume building, and onboarding processes to secure sustainable employment opportunities Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching during work hours to promote professional growth, social skills, and workplace integration Collaborate with employers, community agencies, and families to coordinate services and ensure a supportive network for clients Conduct training sessions on workplace etiquette, communication skills, time management, and other essential competencies Monitor progress through regular documentation, assessments, and feedback sessions to adjust support strategies as needed Maintain compliance with employment & labor laws while advocating for client rights and fostering an inclusive work environment Skills Strong understanding of employment & labor law principles related to individuals with disabilities Experience working with individuals with inellectual & developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques when supporting clients facing substance use challenges Proven ability in teaching life skills, workforce development strategies, social work practices, interviewing techniques, mentoring methods, recruiting approaches, and training & development programs Excellent communication skills for effective interviewing, active listening, and client engagement Ability to build trusting relationships while motivating clients toward independence and success Organizational skills for maintaining detailed records of client progress and compliance documentation Join us in creating empowering opportunities that transform lives!
