School Year Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across the Greater Philadelphia region for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally by collaborating with educators and families to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.What You'll Do:
Assessment & Identification:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services underIDEA. IEP
Development:
Play a lead role in the multidisciplinary team to draft and implement IEPs, ensuring all clinical recommendations are measurable and student-centered.Intervention Services:
Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention, to help students navigate social-emotional challenges.Consultation:
Work as a consultant to school staff and parents on behavior management, instructional strategies, and mental health issues.Compliance:
Ensure all reports and timelines meet Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) standards.Requirements:
Education:
Master's or Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology.
Certification:
Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Educational Specialist I or II Certification in School Psychology.Knowledge:
Familiarity with Chapter 14 regulations and the ER/RR process in Pennsylvania.Communication:
Strong clinical writing skills and the ability to explain complex psychological data to non-clinical stakeholders.Position Highlights:
