• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on various construction sites, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs while adhering to National Electrical Code standards. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting and repairs. Conduct renovations and upgrades to existing electrical systems as required. Perform high voltage and low voltage electrical work safely and efficiently. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or adjustments. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is essential. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards for electrical work. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters effectively. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of construction processes. Knowledge of frame carpentry is beneficial for integration with other trades on-site. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of electrical work.
