This position will report to our office location in Holt, FL. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned. Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Read technical diagrams and blueprints. Plan and perform layout Perform general electrical maintenance. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The candidate must be familiar with industry standards and practices. The candidate should have advanced experience working as an electrician. Minimum certifications shall be a current Journeyman's License. Proficient at reading MEP blueprints and understands how all systems overlay with one another. Proficient at electrical layout prior to rough in. Experience with Motor Controls. Has in depth knowledge of electrical wiring such as installing transformers, disconnects, switchgear, receptacles, and lighting. Adept at bending conduit which shall include knowledge of concentric bends, various offsets, kicks, and saddles. The candidate should possess basic Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook (email) skills. The candidate should have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work directly with our clients and subcontractors and present themselves professionally at the jobsite.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
