The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and supporting project planning efforts. This role requires an understanding of electrical construction methods, the ability to comprehend construction blueprints, and strong problem solving skills . The ideal candidate would be tech-savvy with a willingness to learn and embrace new software. The Junior Electrical Estimator will play a vital role in ensuring project profitability and successful execution by supporting the estimating team. Prepare detailed cost estimates for small to medium-sized projects using McCormick Estimating software. Analyze project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive bid proposals. Collaborate with project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects. Assist in the development of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans. Monitor cost control throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget constraints. Maintain organized documentation of estimates, change orders, and contract modifications. Experience Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods. The ability to comprehend construction blueprints. Experience with McCormick or similar estimating software is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
