As a Junior Estimator at Enix Mechanical, you will play a vital role in the project management division by producing accurate bids in a fast-paced environment. You will work directly with leadership to transform complex blueprints into winning proposals while ensuring every detail is accounted for. Impact:

Analyze and interpret detailed project drawings, specifications, and bid requests to define project scope. Execute precise sheet metal and duct system take-offs to ensure material accuracy. Coordinate with vendors to request and compare equipment quotes against project schedules. Formulate comprehensive customer proposals that align with HVAC design principles and fabrication standards. Monitor and follow up on submitted bids to maintain a consistent project pipeline. Cultivate professional relationships with new and existing vendors to optimize procurement. Document all estimates within Bluebeam and Excel to maintain strict organizational standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Proven ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, and Bluebeam. Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail in high-pressure environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for team and vendor coordination. Mechanical background or fundamental understanding of HVAC systems.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Associates Degree in a related field. 3+ years of experience in mechanical or HVAC estimating. Experience with CAD software for drafting or design review. Demonstrated experience in residential or multi-family project bidding.
