Location:

Torrance, CA (onsite) Work hour: 9:00am - 6:00pm (M-F) A global distribution company is seeking a Junior Japanese Bilingual Sales & Operations Coordinator for its distribution center in Torrance, CA. This role offers a balance of desk-based work (approximately 70%) and hands-on operational tasks (approximately 30%), providing a well-rounded understanding of the business. As part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across sales, operations, and marketing. You will play a key role in supporting daily business activities while developing a broad skill set. Your main responsibility is to support existing customers by processing orders and responding to inquiries. In addition, you will assist with operational tasks such as shipment handling, inventory organization, and data management. You will also support digital marketing activities, including email campaigns and online store management. Responsibilities:

Process orders received via email and phone using internal systems Respond to inquiries from customers and vendors in a timely manner Receive incoming shipments and complete required documentation Verify shipment contents against orders and invoices (quantity, quality, and pricing) Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders Support email marketing campaigns and maintain online store information Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipment activities Organize products in the warehouse (by size, category, etc.) Work with team members to resolve operational issues Keep the workspace clean and organized Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry) Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Strong communication and customer service skills
