Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Junior Plumber / Apprentice and kick-start your career in the plumbing and construction industry! This entry-level role offers hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals on diverse projects, from residential remodels to large scale residential projects. As a Junior Plumber / Apprentice, you'll develop essential skills in plumbing systems, pipe fitting, and construction techniques while gaining valuable insight into the mechanical aspects of building infrastructure. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow, and contribute to high-quality construction projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install plumbing components according to schematics and blueprints.. Help with site preparation tasks such as measuring, marking, and organizing materials on construction sites. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to ensure a secure work environment. Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with remodeling or renovation projects as needed. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related handyman roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Familiarity with construction plumbing systems, HVAC components, or mechanical knowledge is a must. Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques is advantageous. Strong mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing layouts. Previous experience with carpentry, assembly work, or maintenance tasks will be considered an asset.
