Job Description

Kardex Inventory Specialist Position Overview The Kardex Inventory Specialist plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, replenished, and delivered on time. This hands on role works with advanced vertical storage technology (Kardex) and inventory systems to support a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
Operate the Kardex vertical storage system for picking, put away, replenishment, and inventory management Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials while reporting discrepancies Pick, stage, and safely deliver materials (Kardex and non Kardex) to production Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, research, and corrections Replenish Kanban and assembly stations to prevent material shortages Complete inventory transactions in SAP (or similar ERP WMS systems) and communicate material issues as needed Use scanning technology to track and manage inventory accurately Operate material handling equipment (license required or obtained through training) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support team priorities and assist with other tasks when needed
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required Experience in receiving, picking, or inventory control preferred (training provided) Comfortable using computers, scanners, and inventory systems Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and safety Able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Team focused with good communication and problem solving skills Willing to learn new skills and cross train as needed Why You'll Like This Role Work with modern inventory and storage technology Play an important role in supporting production and team success Opportunity for cross training and skill development Stable, team oriented manufacturing environment Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
