Kennel Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and a strong desire to provide exceptional care for pets in our facility. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities Provide daily care for all animals, including feeding, play time, and cleaning. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets and address any questions or concerns. Handle various breeds of dogs and other animals with confidence and care. Assist in the administration of medications when required. Experience Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred but not required. Skills in heavy lifting may be necessary for moving larger animals or equipment. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members. A background in kennel operations or animal care facilities is advantageous but not mandatory.

Time Requirements :

We are looking for somebody who has consistent availability. We are hiring for Morning Shift (6:00am-12:00pm) and Evening Shift (2:00pm-8:00pm. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are looking to fill 2 full time posistions. We would ideally like to hire 2 people who can work either shift 5-6 days a week. The right candidate has potential for growth within the company. Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
