Kids Gymnastics Teacher

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Instructor to join our team part time. The ideal candidate will have gymnastics experience as well as experience with young children, providing a safe and engaging environment for them to learn and excel in gymnastics. This role requires creativity, behavior management techniques, and a commitment to fostering a positive atmosphere for all participants. Responsibilities Instruct gymnastics classes for students 1-5 years old, ensuring safety and proper technique. Develop lesson plans that incorporate skill progression and educational components. Provide individualized feedback to students to help them improve their skills. Manage class behavior effectively, promoting respect and teamwork among students. Organize and lead warm-up exercises and games as well as spot Gymnastics skills. Maintain a clean and safe gym environment by adhering to safety protocols. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and class expectations. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings and student experiences. Requirements Experience working with students in a gym or sports setting is preferred. Strong background in gymnastics or related sports. Ability to educate and coach students effectively while maintaining a positive attitude. Skills in behavior management to ensure a productive learning environment. Experience in childcare or youth programs is a plus. Physical capability to demonstrate gymnastics techniques and assist students as needed.
