Job Description

Kitchen & Laundry Equipment Installation Technician New Britain, PA needs pros who can turn complex appliance installs into seamless customer experiences. Is that you? Why this role? Do you like working with your hands? Can you translate manufacturer specs into a safe, clean, and reliable setup? Are you the person who tests twice and leaves the site spotless? If so, you'll feel right at home here. Role snapshot Install household appliances—refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers—and ensure proper fit and finish. Evaluate the space, measure precisely, and recommend the smartest placement for performance and access. Follow safety standards and manufacturer guidelines every step of the way. Test after installation to verify operation, adjust as needed, and confirm all functions. Provide friendly, clear answers to customer questions and demonstrate key features. Keep work areas organized and remove/dispense of packaging appropriately. Coordinate with your team for smooth scheduling and timely completion. Stay current with evolving appliance technology and modern install techniques. Your toolkit (experience and traits) High school diploma or equivalent; bonus points for technical training. Proven experience in appliance installs or a related mechanical trade. Mechanical aptitude with a problem-solving mindset. Strong communicator with a service-first approach. Comfort lifting and positioning heavy appliances; able to work in varied physical conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends. Hands-on proficiencies Woodworking Field Measurements Warehouse Experience Maintenance and Repair Skills Liquid Propane (LP) Imagine your first week You ride along with a seasoned tech, learn the local layouts in New Britain, PA, practice precise measurements, and walk through checklists that ensure safe power, water, drain, and LP connections. By week's end, you're confidently installing, testing, and explaining features—leaving every home better than you found it.
