Job Description
Job Overview Eagles Landing Winery is seeking an energetic and reliable Kitchen Lead to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure a high-quality food experience for our guests. This part-time role (approximately 25-30 hours per week, Thursday - Sunday) is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining strong standards for food quality, cleanliness, and organization. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely food preparation Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Lead by example in proper food handling, sanitizing, and cleaning procedures Learn and execute the winery's food menu with consistency and attention to quality Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies, ingredients, and kitchen essentials Train and support kitchen staff as needed Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including high-temperature pizza oven, dough stretcher, and slicer machine. Coordinate with tasting room staff to ensure a seamless guest experience Assist with dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep of kitchen areas Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Leadership mindset with a willingness to take initiative Dependable, team-oriented, and positive attitude Ability to follow and enforce procedures and standards Willingness to learn and adapt to the winery's menu and operations Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required Perks FUN and supportive work environment Flexible scheduling Employee discounts on wine, food, and merchandise Opportunity to be part of a growing team Great customers and community atmosphere
